Default liability waiver
gymGO knows that it's a bit tricky creating your own legal documents, so we provide you with a basic liability waiver. To access and view this waiver, navigate to "Client Forms" from the left hand navigation menu and choose the "Signatures" tab. You will see the waiver listed there under "Signatures".
Creating a new legal document
If you prefer to create your own legal documents, navigate to "Client Forms" from the left hand navigation menu and choose the "Signatures" tab. Click the green "+" icon to start creating a new document. You will need to give your document a title, choose a document type, and enter the text (we recommend copy/pasting from a word processor). gymGO provides you with several placeholder variables that allow you to pull in client information when the client is viewing and signing the document. The following placeholder variables are available below where you enter the text of the legal document: , , , . You can simply copy and paste them into the document wherever you would like the client information to appear.
Distributing your legal documents
You distribute your legal documents to clients by attaching them to your service types and memberships. If you attach a legal document to a service type, the client would be required to electronically sign the document before signing up for any class with that service type attached. This is a great place for liability waivers. If you attach a legal document to a membership, your client would be required to electronically sign before purchasing the membership. This would be a great place for a membership contract.
Attaching the legal document to a service item or a membership
There are two ways to attach the documents based on whether you've created the service item or membership yet.
Attaching to an existing service item or membership.
Click into the service item or membership. From the access control panel on the right, you will be able to select the appropriate legal document from the "documents to sign" filter.
Attaching to a new service item or membership.
When you create the service item or membership you'll see be prompted to select a document. Use the "Require Signatures" filter to choose the document you want to attach.
